    It appears that the counterfeit's latches are the same size on both sides whereas the genuine Raptor has a longer latch on the right (shooters POV) & shorter on the left. Are your latches the same size or different?

    Yours is good to go. The fake is the upper one with split roll pins and same size latches. The real raptor has spiral roll pins and the latch on the forward assist side of the upper is slightly longer.

    Ordered mine direct from RA and it came in the correct packaging and everything. The only sure way to know you're not buying clone products these days is going through reputable dealers or straight from the source.

    Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

    Raptor CH

    I will not be buying these used I guess. I really want one but the cost scares me.

    Thanks for the info. Retailer was ROG Tactical, so I was pretty confident, just wanted to make sure.
