    'Homeland' Showtime series

Who else is watching it? Just finished season 2 last night. Not a big TV watcher but this and Walking Dead are must watches for me.

Only thing I knew Claire Danes from before watching this series was Terminator 3. She is ,IMHO, the best actress in Hollywood right now. Brilliant acting.

Quinn who I wasn't sure of at first was awesome in his small part in the final episode. Like a young John Clark.

    *Spoiler alert*

I didn't really get into homeland until Brody rolled out the rug in the garage and started "Alah akbar"ing it. I was like What. The. ****. and was hooked ever since then. Also liked when he shot the deer with his m9 in suburbia.

Agree, she is great in Brokedown Palace as well. That's a good movie with a before plastics Beckinsale. Homeland is is must for me as well.
I tried Strikeback but I thought it was cheeseballs.

What is better to start?: GOThrones or Boardwalk Empire? I've seen neither, ever.

Just contemplating Boardwalk Empire myself. As to GoT, even having read the whole series does not detract from enjoying the video. Very well done and stands alone very, very well.

I, too, just finished watching the Season 2 DVD's last week and am looking forward to the next season on DVD's when they come out, which should be sometime in September 2014.

I started watching Season 3 of Walking Dead this week, but just couldn't get into it. I liked Season 1 a lot, and mostly liked Season 2, but just how many different ways can you bash, stick or shoot a zombie in the head? I am done with it as I don't see enough plot depth.

I am still looking forward to the future DVD releases of:

    Homeland Season 3
    Justified Season 4
    The Bridge Season 1
    The Following Season 1
    The Killing Season 2
    The Newsroom Season 2

homeland..... I watched most of the first season throughout my last deployment.

I was a little creeped out by the subject matter....

regardless, it's a good show, well made, and claire danes does a darn good job in it.

Just finished season one. It's OK, but not great. Hopefully it gets better. Except for Morena Baccarin. She is awesome.
