Are you referring to the current government shutdown due to the failure of Congress to pass necessary funding measures or the still looming squabble over raising the debt ceiling (yet again) which will happen in a couple of weeks?

We had a limit on threads on the debt limit, and we're still in negotiations as to whether to raise it.

To me they're one in the same your budget is within your budget or you raise your ability to accumulate debt.

If the spending bill is passed now it's guaranteed the debt limit has to go up to pay for the spending.

The VA is going to run out of funding before the month is out. Kinda need my GI Bill payments for rent...but I'll make do if we can accomplish something outa all this.
