Expand this topic to include the home, camping, bugging out, etc. A lot of preppers focus on things like food, firearms, water, first aid. If you PREVENT the accident you don't need first aid. A minor injury during a crisis can easily translate into a fatality for you or your loved ones!
I've got safety glasses, hardhat, ear plugs, gloves, knee & elbow pads, and respirators in my emergency kit. I suggest that others include similar items.
