Sage Warfighter/IR 50 (Distributed by Night Vision Equipment Company. NVEC) is a Lightweight Helmet mounted Thermal Imaging System designed for military, law enforcement, and security personnel. The IR-50 mounts to any PASGT/ACH/MICH Kevlar helmet or Pro-Tec and Team Wendy bump helmets. It is a day and night capable imaging system that detects man size targets through smoke, fog, rain and dust to 300 meters and beyond.

It includes an adjustable focus and brightness control, adjustable view screen, quick detach helmet mount, chin strap, lens cap, soft carry case, high impact pressurized storage case, and instruction manual. Uses 2x AA Lithium or alkaline batteries. The Pro Tec helmet in the picture is not included.

This IR-50 is in AS-New condition. I have used it for approximately 3 hours. The least expensive Helmet mountable Thermal units are about 6K and up so this is a great opportunity to own fantastic and extremely rare thermal imaging system for much much less.

Here is a short video taken through the unit showing a 2 liter water bottle filled with warm water( approx. body temp.)about 80 yards away. It is the bright white spot at the base of the tree. The video was taken by holding a cheap Kodak mini cam up to the OLED view screen, it doesn't really do it justice, the actual viewed image is much better but you get the idea.

In the right 3'oclock of the picture is a two liter soda bottle filled with warm water located about 75 yards away next to a fire hydrant. The actual image is significantly better than what I could capture by holding a camera to the LED view screen but it gives an idea of how the system performs.
