I didn't go into the stores to "educate people." I had some time to kill and saw two gun shops that I had never visited. I merely went in to see what they had and perhaps make a purchase if I saw something that appealed to me. My wife had recently had a heart attack and I had a lot on my mind. It just irritated me that, in both stores, they were trying to pass off lesser quality ARs as top of the line. Also, I did not intervene in any transactions. The only people involved in the "education" were the clerk and myself.
That day was atypical as far as the way I usually behave. I generally check out Walmart's guns about once a week because their inventory is constantly changing. Only yesterday I asked to see an Olympic Arms AR because I had never examined one in person. The clerk said it was an excellent weapon with a great price. Upon examining it, I noticed several obvious deficiencies but I never said a word and thanked the clerk for his time.
