1911 slide lock part II

I was having problems with the slide not locking back on an empty mag and figured out it was the springfield mag. Shot 250 rds at the range the other day after I recieved my Wilson mags and it everything worked as it should have loaded the sprinfield mag up and shot one handed with my arm locked and it would not lock up. Put the Wilson mags in and everything was perfect. Still have a problem though the Springfield slide lock gets in the way when I shoot with both hands. Its two big and my thumb some how ends up getting in the way of the slide lock so it wont lock back after the final round has been fired. Can anyone suggest a good small slide release or should I just get the dremel out and do my own modifications?

I'd "Customize" it to your liking. I do this on my Slide Lock, and Extended Thumb Safeties.

Just hit it with some "Cold Blue" when you're done and you've saved some $$$.
