    North Korean Mosin-Nagants

A parade in July of this year to mark the 60th anniversary of the Armistice (er, I mean, North Korean victory )

Looks like they still keep a stock of M91/30's for such occasions:

The Germans still have K98ks around for ceremonial purposes.

The Russians also still keep the SKS around for guard use and ceremonial use.

I often see color guards at funerals and 4th of July parades carrying 03 Springfields.

Old military rifles rule...if you ask me! LOL

The pic of the Koreans bring a question to my mind... does goose stepping actually impress anyone anymore?

I always wondered why all these militaries picked rifles for ceremonial use that were used specifically from WW2. Is there an actual reason for this?

My guess is that having much sleeker profiles they are a lot easier to D&C with and with all the wood they look pretty all shined up.
