I bet you the DEA agents in South American forest drug operations aren't using Rock River Arms rifles.

The sword sang on the barren heath,
The sickle in the fruitful field:
The sword he sang a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield.
[QUOTE=RIGPIG;1773313 I should probably be wondering why our rural town's LEOs are so militarized...[/QUOTE]
i could care less how "militarized" your equipment is (b/c isn't MilSpec better?), i care how "militant" you act.
I currently own 2 RRA carbines and they both run like a Swiss watch. I just installed the 3rd barrel on my older carbine, which has over 23,000 rounds through it. The newer carbine has 7,000 rounds through it.
Things people grumble about, staking bolt carrier keys, receiver extension castle nuts, etc., I take care of in about 15 minutes with a minimal number of tools.
I owned a few Colt carbines and rifles over the years and they are fine weapons. I buy what is available at the time I want it if I believe it will serve my purposes.
Don't get me started on my personal experiences with Bushmaster; I won't own one.

Not getting into the RRA or LWRC or the "my gun is better than your gun" discussion because, to me, there's no merit to it.
I will say this to your statement in bold print. It has nothing to do with being able to rectify those things; it has more to do with you shouldn't have to. RRA isn't any less expensive than Colt or DD or BCM, yet those things are generally taken care of. RRA should do the same for the people that buy their rifles. It shows attention to detail.
Agreed. I don't think RRA carbines are any better than anyone elses. They fill my needs and I saved an average of $300 per rifle over other makes when I purchased them. That's $300 worth of ammunition I can buy.
My issue with Bushmaster was horrible customer service and the fact that every one of them I owned required work before I could use them. If someone likes them and they work well for them, then that is great.
I have shooting buddies who love Colts and nothing else. That's great for them as well.

This has gone of the reservation and now become the latest show on A&E called Flame Wars.
