    New member... new build...

Hey all. I thought I would share my latest build and say hello at the same time.

I wanted to build a rifle that would be a tack-driver out to 300yds with MK 262 and that would be small enough for CQB/HD/whatever using M855 and M193. After making a few changes here and there, I think I accomplished my goal. I have a T1 that might get moved over to this stick but I like using irons for HD.

I have only used M855 and XM193 through it so far. I'm getting around 1.5MOA with the shit ammo. I'm breaking clays at 300 with maybe 1 out of 2 shots. I'm in the process of prepping a shitload of brass and still trying to collect reloading supplies for 77gr. SMK's loads.

I have been working on tuning the rifle for the last few weeks. I'm going back out tomorrow with my buffer dropped to 5.5oz. It's 100% with it at 6.5oz. but I feel it's a little heavy. I'm expecting my brass to be right @ 3'oclock if that matters.

That is a very nice set up. My wife has almost the same with the exception of a LW 16" Noveske instead of the Afghan and a Vortex 1-6.
In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.

    Thanks for the compliment!

I looked at the 1-6x Razor but decided to go with the SS. My only complaint on the Vortex was the reticle, just didn't work for me. I picked up a barely used SS for 800. Other then being a heavy little f***er I am very happy with it. I did own a 5-20x Razor for awhile but switched it out for a NF. This my first SWFA scope and I'm pretty impressed with it. Hopefully SWFA will build their 3-15x in a HD version. I'm also inetersted in the VCOG when that becomes available.

You may want to stake that castle nut/endplate.
