Maybe someone else has the inside scoop were these items come from.
The latest batch of lowers supposedly is coming from FN, at least according to the description of a "mil-spec contractor right here in Columbia." While they haven't gone out and said who, one could make the assumption it's FN.

As for the rest, I think it's dependent on serial number. The AP serials are supposedly Aero Precision and the LW marked serial numbers are supposdly L.W. Schneider. Like other folks that don't do lower manufacturing in house, they probably have a couple of sources they can call for lowers.

As for uppers, I'm not sure. And the above is a bunch of guesswork from TOS, but pretty decent guesswork since Palmetto won't say.

ETA: Here's the link about the possible FN lowers

I have numerous PSA bare lowers and all have a LW 000xxxxx serials, indicating they were machined by LW Schnieder for PSA. I know at one point Aero Precision made some of their lowers, which had AP 000xxxx serials. Also, PSA this week that they would be selling a new series of lowers "produced right here in Columbia by a known mil-spec contractor."

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Have a complete PSA MOE lower that has the WORST WORST WORST trigger I've ever felt on a firearm.

    But, for a complete Magpulled-out lower for $199 shipped I won't complain.

Why do you guys buy PSA LPK's & throw away the triggers when they can be had with good triggers as part of the kit? A couple months ago I picked up some PSA LPKs that had ALG ACT triggers for $65. The QMS ones were $45. Seems silly since they are available in several different quality grip/trigger combinations. I wish more vendors offered these selections.

I have a 20" PSA with the FN barrel that was working great today! The best advice I have is make sure you watch what you buy. They do or have sold less than mil-spec parts like 8620 bolts, regular CMV CL barrels (not that I've heard of problems with these though) and other parts I can't remember at the moment. They're not BCM but they're not DPMS/BM either.

I would consider them the as the best option for a budget build that is actually gtg as long as you watch your parts list. If they really are sourcing more parts from FN then that is a major win for them!

I know. I bought a few & was actually only after the triggers. It was basically a free LPK with the purchase of an ALG trigger.
They also sell them with Geissele FCG, Magpul grips & BAD safety selectors. We all know the grips, triggers & safeties are the first to get tossed so I think this is smart on their part. Very convenient too, IMO.

PSA does offer lower cost/quality stuff.. its up to the BUYER to read the info before you hit the "buy" button.
I just this week got a Carp.158 HPT/MPI bolt for $64, and a spare parts kit with rings, fp, extractor, ect,.
I think they also have a 9130 bolt too. Just read before you buy, and its all good. From what Ive bought over the years...I like em.
