No problems with cycling 75gr, downrange the 1x9 will very unlikely stabilize the 75gr and it may look like you're using a shotgun with a modified choke.

during training we used mainly 55gr and some 65gr.with a Colt 14.5 1/7 tri-burst. it ran like a dream easy to hit ranges at the 300 meter target with just BUIS

Stop listening to those people, they are less than credible.

One thing I didn't see mentioned is carrier bounce
In semi auto no problem with it, but full auto the carrier will bounce back when it goes into battery against the barrel extension, the hammer will try to strike the firing pin at the same time the carrier has bounced off the barrel extension and will have a light primer strike and the gun will stop, the way to check it is open your upper up after this happens and the hammer will be forward.
If you have a full auto you need a H2 buffer in it, it will keep the carrier from bouncing

None of my M4A1s (1 in 7) have had any issue with bolt bounce with standard CAR buffers (do prefer H though). Most of the issues I am familiar with concerning bolt bounce (not many) involve the use of CAR buffers and Semi-Auto BCGs (the ones with the cut semi-circle rear).

There are a few reasons why you might have a hammer forward stoppage and a light primer dent, and they are more common than bolt bounce, in my experience. Unless you are experiencing bolt-bounce in your current set-up, changing to a 1 in 7 barrel will not cause or exascerbate bolt-bounce.

I have never seen/heard this occur with a factory gun & MILSPEC ammo, only home-made Franken-guns, and who knows what the true cause is.

I am talking about FULL AUTOs, more times than not if you use a standard buffer you will have carrier bounce bad enough it will cause your gun to stop working under full auto fire due to the hammer hitting the firing pin as the carrier bounces off the barrel exstension. It is more prevelent on the short barreled Autos.
I have seen it many times, I was working with a unit at Bragg, and for some reason they had switched out there H buffers with standard buffers on some M4s.We had changed the barrels to 10.5, the guns were choking very badly from carrier bounce in full auto, after I checked them out and seen they had standard buffers, we put H2 buffers in them, they all ran like a champ with the heavy buffers in them.
You do have to make sure your gas ports are correct, some guns wont run on the heavy buffers.......................AD
