Picked up a Dissy carbine and successfully fitted a set of A1 handguards.
I seem to recall seeing some oldtime dissy carbines, but haven't been able to come up with photos.
I'm considering either a fixed or collapsible stock, and have a Colt lower; the Dissy barrel is (unhappily, perhaps) attached to an A2 upper.
This doesn't have to be entirely historically correct, but I'd like to do something interesting with it.
