    Well lets see...

I put an Armalite lpk in the Noveske lower along with a Timney 4lb skeletonized fire control group. Having done that I attached a Mapgul trigger guard to open up the area.

For a grip I slapped on the ever popular Hogue grip but I have something else in mind and will put it on when it arrives in the mail.

I decided to go with a LR300 NXL upper with YHM folding BUIS. I'll get some glass a little later on. I'm also running a Y Comp for three gun matches and stuff.

I put on a skeletonize buttstock and a uno point sling both from ZM Weapons.

I think it turned out pretty well and pretty happy with it.

its a ZM from YHM. they dont have buffers. They are a piston gun with a very Daewoo-like half-carrier system. The spring would be captured on the op rod....IIRC.

FYI, It's not gas piston, it's regular old DI.

The bolt carrier is the same in principal but a lot lighter while still retaining the the forward assist gills.

The spring sits on top of the barrel over the gas tube...

if not a piston design, then what is the benefit? different for the sake of being different?
