Colt 9mm question

I want to change out my upper for a flat top, can i use any AR upper?
Also would like to change the trigger do i need to ramp the bolt
if i use a AR 15 trigger? Thanks for the help, new to 9mm Ar's

You can use any AR upper but there's no reason to use one with a provision for a forward assist. Rainier Arms can sell you one without or you can go to RRA for a 9mm flat top upper.

The DPMS slickside upper works well. (~$85). All mine have ramped bolts and "no hook" hammers..

Do you guys think i should ramp the bolt on the colt and run a Aftermarket trigger? or buy a new bolt thats already ramped? Im just trying
to get a better trigger on my 6450, thanks!
