We get it, you're a HSLD operator who knows what's what and wants everyone else to know that you know that we know that you know what's up. ~ elricfate
I'd say run it in IDPA or USPSA that is always the initial basis/ testing ground for if I like a gun or not, plus its kind of random
WilsonCombatRep two questions
#1 is your lubricant more for metal framed guns? do you see any issues with polymer guns?
#2 you guys have a military discount?
Fox,
Our UltimaLube works well with polymer frames.....well tested in that use. Yup, we not only have a military discount, we also have Ultima Lube on sale for our BLACK FRIDAY sale....look under the Misc. Accessories heading....

True confession time? I've owned several Wilson 1911s over the years -- literally since the era of the first "Service Grade" 1996A2 models -- but I've yet to actually try UltimaLube. Just never sent in any of my "bonus product" sheets, obviously, as I know that this comes in the box along with whatever else I managed to miss.
Maybe I should go find one and actually fill it out. Is 10 years too long to wait, Will? lol

Stand your ground; don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here. -- Captain John Parker, Lexington, 1775.
My next pistol is definitely gonna be another CQB. Maybe a compact.
I bought a Tactical Supergrade a few years back when they were transitioning over on a lot of stuff, and it was a soup sandwich. Eventually got a refund and sent it back. Glad to hear some positive, now. They handled it well, the 2 warranty trips were covered both ways by them, I think I just paid the final return for refund. They are a good company.
1250 (100 rounds Blazer Al, 50 Rounds Winchester 185gr)
150 rounds today. Took advantage of the holiday and shot 150 rounds through Ruby today. Usual drills plus a new one where I set up targets at 21, 30 and 25 yards. I ran it from concealment and on a timer. The gun performed perfectly.
I know I am preaching to the choir, but it is really important to practice with realistic clothing. I was wearing a heavy coat so my times were considerably slower. I also think you should practice mag drills from your pocket unless you REALLY carry your spare mag in a mag carrier. If you often have other junk in there with it then leave it in there for drills. I have gotten so good and mag reloads that it just about doesn't matter what the mag's orientation is in my pocket--my fingers will get it straight before it hits the magwell.
If you aren't armed when you take a dump in your own home then your opinion on what is a practical daily carry weapon isn't interesting to me.
100 more rounds. Actually intended to shoot 200, but forgot my extra ammo. Ran perfectly. Gun is silky smooth.
The Wilson next to my current "beside the bed" blaster.

Greg,
Do you prefer the Wilson over your M&P?
"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Funny exactly why I quit shooting IDPA, wore heavy winter clothing zipped up, got alot of grief cause I didn't wear a vest or unzip or unglove before the timer went off. Shooter Ready? Yes, RO well aren't you going to unzip and take your gloves off?For faster times? Me> No, RO>well you'll never win the game..
Apologies for the slight derail....
