    Spartan Industries sights

Anyone had experience with flip up co-witness sights from Spartan Industries, am considering a set since they appear to be sufficient & very affordable compared to many others.

IMO unless you are purchasing for an airsoft "toy" I wouldn't get them?

if not love at first sight

Yep, they sell Airsoft stuff but the sights are annodized aluminum and mil spec, see a set before judging them. I know a lot mof IPSC 3 Gunners that use airsoft golsters, leg pouches, vests etc.
If it looks like a sight, sights like a sight and don't break, it usually is a sight no matter where it came from.
Or if you'd rather spend $200 for a name brand, get a pair of Gucci jeans to wear when you're shooting.

What exactly is the mil-spec for chinese knock-off airsoft sights?

I will bet you my house, my cars, my dogs and all my guns these sights are not nearly as accurate as precision machined sights from KAC.

You get what you pay for...crap in, crap out...

How big is the house, that kind of car, what guns are they and you can keep the dog.
I put them on a CMM and compared to Yankee Hill dimensions & they are within -0005 from rail attachment surface to center of rear arperture & top of front post.
I'm not trying to start a flam thing, just was trying to show a less expensive option for those like me that cannot sink big $ into something I use a couple hours a month for IPSC 3 Gun matches, that's all folks.

Lets just be clear River that these are toy sights and try not to deceive those who wouldn't otherwise know better.

It's very likely that Chinese made sights aren't hardened/tempered metal, most likely they're diecast pot metal. There's a reason why Troy, LaRue, KAC, MI, Matech etc. cost what they do........they're meant to be grunt proof.

We 3-gun guys do things and put things on our guns that shouldn't ever be used on a gunfighting gun (as a 3-gunner I'm included in this statement). Somethings are meant purely for speed and not long duty life.
