That is great looking. I have been planning a almost identical build using most R.A. parts

The pistol looks great. I put together a very similar unit using the AAC 9" upper. I went with a pistol over an SBR because I didn't want to deal with NFA designation. I'll post some pictures at when I take some...
Regardless, I thought I would add to the thread as I've received affirmative responses from the ATF regarding the handstop issue. I had sent an email to the ATF for review of certain additions to AR-15 type weapons in a pistol configuration. You don't have to take my word for it either, just send them an email... the turn around was 4 days and you'll get your answers right from the source. Included in the email was references to the applicable legal sections so you can dig deeper if you enjoy reading law.
Anyway, here's the Q&A part of the email. No wishy washy answers here:
Q 1: Can I lawfully attach a Magpul AFG to an AR-15 type pistol?
A 1: Yes.
Q 2: Can I lawfully install rail covers on the rail sections of an AR-15 type pistol?
A 2: Yes.
Q 3: Can I lawfully attach a Knight’s URX hand-stop to an AR-15 type pistol?
A 3: Yes.
Q 4: Can I lawfully install a standard receiver extension on an AR-15 type pistol, provided I do not attach a shoulder stock to the subject pistol?
A 4: Yes.
[QUOTE=*Disclaimer for AR pistol haters: I would love to have an SBR, but I live in WA... This is a close as I can get.*[/QUOTE]
Nice build. Its not as close as you can get though. Get an SB15 "arm stabilizing brace" heat it up with a heat gun and slid it on your PWS buffer tube. WHen it cools down, you will have a rock solid Arm Stabalizing Brace, that is very stock like.

If a large number of people are willing to kill you for saying something, then it probably really needs to be said. .
Phase 5 tube is actually the best choice. They are a bitch to get on. I use a heat gun. But once they are they are very solid. I would say about 95% as good as a stock On an sbr. If you are in Redmond or Seattle area pm me and I'll show you mine. The added circumference helps keep it snug.
