    The perfect general purpose AR

Pardon the grainy pic, but it's 0300. The picture might be perfect and it's my eye sight that's grainy. I guess I'll know in the morning.

Mega upper (w/ feedramps) and lower
BCM govt. profile midlength w/ F marked FSB from CMMG.
CMT lower parts kit & H buffer
    RRA bolt carrier assy.
    CavArms furniture set
    YHM single point end plate
Aimpoint CompM2 w/ Larue cantilever mount
    Larue BUIS w/ same-plane aperture
    C Products SS mag w/ Magpul L-plate

Haven't decided on a sling yet.

Tomorrow morning I'll finish building its twin. Just need to torque the barrel to the upper and attach the sighting stuff.

    I almost agree.

I like the one on the top for a general purpose carbine.
16" SS Mid w/rifle sight radius.
    RRA UTE receiver.

    Thats one great looking carbine.

Slap a sling on it and you will be ready to rock.

I'm leaning more towards magnified optics (Short Dot or NF 1-4X or Dr.Optic equiped ACOG's) for my GP carbines now.

Carbines, as in plural? Aimpoint M2s are expensive enough when you're buying 2 (or more ) at a time. An ACOG+Dr would double the cost, let alone a short dot.

I've got a 'Recce' that will get something magnifed like that, but that's just the one. I won't be building a spare that is just like it.

No the plural (Carbines) was a typo. While Aimpoints & Eotechs are not cheap, I only have one with an "Expensive" optic.
