mounting an M203....Help!!!

It's a MK18 with the KAC clamp ghetto-rigged to be long enough to close on a Knights FH.

But will I not have the same issues using another barrel...ie. the ears of the 203' not wrapping about the barrel for mounting?

That depends on what kind of barrel it is.

ADCO can mill the flats in any barrel for the 203 to clear I bet. Colt M4 SOCOM barrels should already have them.
