Seeds of Change Foods Ready to Heat Rice

I was impressed with the quality and the fact they are organic(somewhat important to me). The brown rice and quinoa was the only flavor I tried and it was good. The only complaint that I can think of was the strong garlic flavor. If you don't like garlic the brown rice and quinoa is not for you. I got them at Costco and they only come in brown rice and quinoa at my local store. They have roughly five hundred calories per pouch and can be cooked in a microwave or in a skillet per directions. I tried a spoonful cold and it tasted alright(no problem if I had skipped a meal). I think they would be good for a BOB or an addition to your shelf stable foods. Has anyone else tried other flavors? I think for most of us these would be a good alternative to MREs that few of us are likely to work into our regular diets.

Thanks for the recommendation. Do you what the shelf life is?
