    BCM 14.5

    [/URL]

Ive had this built for a while now, just now getting to posting it.

This is my first build, upper was assembled by Gun Gallery in Jacksonville, FL.
My initial goal was to put together an all around rifle and keep weight to a minimum.

    Upper receiver:
    BCM 14.5 BFH upper
    KAC URX 3.1 rail
    Battlecomp 1.5
    BCM BCG
    BCM Marked Troy BUIS
    BCM ambi charging handle
Aimpoint Micro / Daniel Defense Micro mount / Tango Down iO Cover

    Lower receiver:
    BCM lower
    BCM Mod 1 Grip
    Geissele SD3G trigger
    Battle Arms Development 45* selector
    B5 Sopmod Bravo Stock
    H2 buffer
    IWC QD end plate

The combination of selector and trigger make this gun very fast and it shoots very flat.
My issued rifle is a Colt M4 with DD RIS II, and I think this rifle is better in just about every way.

Im very happy with the way it turned out, though now I'm kind of kicking myself for not waiting for the Geissele Mk4.

ETA: Unfortunately I don't have a quality camera. Photo came from an Iphone 4

Very nice 14.5! I am getting close to putting together a second AR, and this is almost identical to what I had in mind. I like your selection of components, quality stuff.

But it looks so evil... and black... Nice setup. Nothing better than your own build!

the case is a pelican 1700. Its just large enough to fit everything I need for a trip to the range.

Here, Ive managed to fit 15 pmags, sling, cleaning kit with some tools, hands, eyes, and a couple itw fastmags.

This case is great for airline travel, but is a little heavy for everyday use. Setup as shown is around 45 lbs.

My solution to carrying around that heavy Pelican case:

Soft case is a Tacital Tailor covert carry single rifle 35" case. Fits inside the Pelican without an inch to spare.

Also holds four mags inside the zippered pocket.
