Mixmaster brothers - my late production H&R CMP Rack Grade Special with my late production SA 1903.
The M1 has a CMP stock and Criterion barrel, the 1903 a WWII production scant stock and 1942 SA barrel.

A few years back I picked up a CMP Special in 308 to go with a very nice 30-06 Garand I've enjoyed for a long long time.
Just recently I found a scratched up CompM4 for $400 and I decided the 308 Garand would come up and join the modern era.
A few hits of Krylon got rid of the scratches, an Ultimak rail up front, 12 clips in the Olongapo Outfitters chest rig, and an adjustable sling with an M16 adapter to keep it right side up, and I'm ready for fun pretty much anywhere.![]()

I
CMP Expert grade SA, picked up last month with new stock and Criterion barrel. I’m in love.
Only thing I’ve added is a sling from AmmoGarand, and tung oil to the stock.
