All National Match parts in 308, Pro-Tech barrel in a Wenig stock. Built by a noted M1 builder, I bought it ‘cheap’ when everyone was clamoring and switching over to the ‘black rifles’. The rifle is also fully bedded and unitized, it shoots < 1 MOA.

Given that 10-shots are a group and 5-shots may be a favorable trend ... know that just one good 3-shot group can make you an instant internet superstar!

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.” ― George Orwell, 1984

Amazing find! Someone I met in the reenacting community found one that had been bubba'd with brown and black paint. It included all original parts and he managed to wipe off the paint layer by layer until he got to the original finish.
My M1 is a 5.45 Million serial Springfield that I backdated with reproduction lock bar sights and a milled trigger guard. The M1 bayonet is an original, with a reproduction scabbard, while the M1905 bayonet is a full reproduction. Cartridge belt, canteen, and first aid pouch are original, with the canteen pouch being a reproduction.
