    Thanks a lot for the kind words! I have quite an extensive WWII US small arms collection. It was very easy to put everything together as I got many guns for free. And when you have to buy the prices are ridiculous compared to the US of A. A working WWII vintage BAR is about 2.800 $, an M2 HMG 3.500$.
    Some gorgeous Garands there - I am jealous!!

    Well honestly, I do appreciate all the close up & detailed pics, and am in awe of your collection. Are you aware of the "Garand Collectors Assoc" here in the US? They welcome stories like yours. I wrote one up awhile back and was published, so it is very "grass roots" in terms of editorial content. I'm sure they would publish your tales, but you would have to join the organization to do so. It's $30ish annually, not a big deal.
