10.5 upper, which one?

Wow, looks like he is out of 10.5...maybe he will have them in when I get my paperwork in and back to me. I guess I better check the forums,as I need to fill out this Form 1 in front of me...damn ATF, they have to make all this paperwork hard to understand!!

Go ahead and get it in. It's running about 6-8 weeks now for approval.

I got my LMT 10.5 from Grant, and he included handguards, a charging handle, and a PRI latch. That should help narrow the gap a little between the CMMG and the LMT, if he's still doing that.

IMHO, any uppem made by either LMT, LWRC, or BCM is a safe bet. I'm sure there are otehrs though.

Hey all, I decided to do the sbr thing.

I am kinda stuck. I had been considering a Model 1 upper but have reconsidered. I am now leaning towards a CMMG but the LMT seems to be the preferred.

If I got the CMMG am I really give up that much quality for the price? I tell you, I really like the LMT but it is quite a bit more $$.
What makes the LMT so much better than the CMMG?

I would really appreciate the help.

For a 10.5, there is really only one option and that is LMT. What makes them better than CMMG is the barrel steel used, testing done and just overall quality.

I bought my 10.5" LMT from Grant back in 2004 and it's been 100% reliable.
