    G19 MB

    just wanted to share this with you guys.
    It from an italian gun magazine.

    this pic show the differences between a standard G19 and newer G19 MB.

    - of course the ambi mag release;
    - new ambi magazine that will work with "old" glock since the cut on the side is still there;
    - new slide stop lever (b);
    - new mag follower;

    new MB frames wont be marked "MB" on the side like SF frames are.

    Is it just me or is the underside of the trigger guard/front strap radiused for a higher grip relative to the old glock?

    The article indicates its a 9x21 rather than 9x19--this looks like something for competition as the 9x21 was used to get past restrictions on "overpowered" 9x19 to make the "major power" category in certain competitions.

    losbroncos,
    I think it is an Italian government thing where civilians can not own the same caliber as the .gov... So no 9x19 for them. If I am wrong, please correct me. But I know I read this somewhere.

    G19 is right next to me. To my eyes it looks the same.

    Glock is funny in how they modify things and barely make a peep. Other companies make a minor change and rename the gun to something stupid and charge you an extra hundred bucks

    Jack

    you're right sir.

    only Mil/Leo can use 9x19.

    Us poor civis can't....ence our Beretta M9, G17/G19 etc, HK MP5, CX4 Storm, P08, etc are all chambered in 9x21 in order to be owned by civilians. The only difference is in the chamber...everything else is the same as the original design.
