I know for a fact that John Noveske will never truly be gone, when people like us all are using the gear Noveske Rifleworks puts out. Johnny truly believed everyone should have an AR-15. He told me that himself back in August of 2011. Lets keep that dream alive.

He also grew one wicked beard with a stache.

XCoastie photo, very nice of the memorial trigger!

I always thought the "assault hammer" was a bit of genius. Of course, I keep mine locked up in the gun safe.

And that is an impressive beard and mustache. Any Viking would have been proud to display it!

This is a picture I shot of John 5 years ago or so. The night before we had been hanging out listening to Johnny Cash (the Man in Black). Most people are probably familiar with the picture of Johnny Cash flipping the bird, so this was our own tribute. I think its pretty fitting to release the picture and show the light and happy side of him on the anniversary of his death. Lots of great memories...

I had the pleasure of shooting a benefit 3 gun match for the Heroes Project today, and it was the best match I've ever shot. I finished at the 68th percentile. It's fitting that today was the 1 year anniversary of John's untimely death. I'd like to think a bit of his spirit was helping me out. RIP John, a True American Badass who contributed so much to the shooting community.
