I sure hope it is extremely functional. Like "game-changer" functional. Even if it is, I wouldn't buy it (the furniture), but I might not cringe when I see it. I was also disappointed when they put the billboards on their rifles. Luckily, I get to vote with my wallet.

The stock is hideous and over styled. And having rough texture and rubber on the cheekweld is a big mistake.

That said I have it on good authority that the stock can punch right through a brick wall and is very aerodynamic when jumping over a hay bale.

    WTF DD
Now that u say that. I really pray rob pincus didn't design these. Im a serious DD fan, but I dont know about that stock as well...

On more thing. DD seems to have reversed the stock adjustment latch, which is actually brilliant and it would have allowed them to create a really clean and snag free stock with some weight savings to boot.

    But they gave us this...

Looks a bit goofy but if it offers better functionality, who cares? Hard to say without fondling one.

They would have to weigh half as much as the lightest parts on the market and be twice as strong as the strongest for me to even take note. They are absolutely hideous. I like LaRue too but that RAT stock is an eyesore as well. As much as I love BCM, I'm not a big fan of their grips either... Taste in furniture is very subjective... Rifle companies should leave it to the experts as much as possible, preferably Magpul and maybe B5.

You know... if they took the rubber off the stock, it wouldn't really look too bad... Looks like it would be light. That textured rubber is just horrendous.

That's about the ugliest stock I've ever seen.

    Yuck...

If you spend much time around the guys who really, really know their craft, and who truly live this stuff, you tend to find that they are very soft-spoken and modest -- almost to the extreme. To my mind, that is a model worthy of emulation
