Rifle companies should leave it to the experts as much as possible, preferably Magpul and maybe B5.
What don't you like about the BCM grips?

I'm deleting this post because after reading !Nvasi0n's post on page 4, I don't think that I have the experience or knowledge to pass judgement on Daniel Defense's new products.

They're OK.. They're a little thin for my hands and just don't do it for me in the looks department. The whole stippled panel look is kinda old-fashioned. They're extremely well made, but I gave up on mine after a few hundred rounds - the angle is nice but I prefer a slightly meatier grip - but some reason the UCWRG Grip 23 feels great to me. Like I said - furniture is very subjective - there is no stock or grip to end all stocks and grips because we all have different bodies and different tastes.

Glad to see that are coming out with their own furniture, but I think if this is their new standard it will narrow their perspective market. A little far from tradition for me.

Yeah not a big fan. Especially of the grip angle and finger groove.

Man I hope they don't do any funky redesigning of their fixed sights! Just about to buy a set. I'm sure the quality is fine but the style looks like it deserves to be on a true zombie gun and not in the hands of a serious User. All its missing is the zombie green paint. But change isn't usually accepted at first......and then it becomes the norm. Just not for me.

Well as a DD fan color me disappointed. I was hoping for a .308 but it appears we're getting an Mk12 which looks nice, DDM4 V9 (15" DDM4 rail) which doesn't look bad but I'd still prefer the V1 & V5 (and V7) over it... The mil spec + finish is basically a brown anodized finish? Doesn't look bad but nothing ground breaking or really interesting here.

Now to the furniture... It's the ugliest, cheapest looking CRAP I've ever seen. Whoever came up with that should be fired, if DD actually starts selling their rifles with this furniture I think it's going to be a running joke. They would have done MUCH better offering a CTR/STR/B5Sopmod option with a Magpul K2 or BCM gunfighter grip.

At this point I think I'm over DD and will be buying BCM from here on out, JMHO.

    Completely ridiculous.

That thing looks like it should have guitar strings with some tuning keys at the muzzle so you can play fantasy death metal on it.
