I think it is close to the new Glock DE. If I can remember tonight I'll get some pictures.

So can you actually buy these things individually (I looked on DD's site last week)? I want to try that stock out.

Post #204 says that they are hoping for a spring March/April date for availability.

Grips, stocks, VFGs, sights and mag preference is so variable that IMHO manufacturers should keep that stuff baseline and let the consumer adjust as needed. I should be able to just plug and chug, but DD's new offering means I now have to take another step and acquire two additional parts just to swap out the pistol grip. While not exactly a bank breaker, it is inconvenient and just complicates what should be a simple two minute swap. It doesn't help this stuff looks ugly as hell.

I finally handled one of these rifles last weekend at a local gunshow. I couldn't stand that grip or stock. Granted I have giant hands, but it felt smaller than a BCM Mod 0 grip, and had an obnoxious finger groove. The angle is the new popular vertical angle which is nice, and while grippy, I'm not a fan of the texture, especially on the buttstock. I can understand why they would want to insource, doesn't mean I have to like it, or that the execution of it was a good idea. Lose the finger groove, beef it up more to the size of a Magpul MOE, B5/Umbrella 23 or BCM Mod 3, and leave that texturing off the buttstock. I don't know why anyone would buy this stock over a B5, VLTOR, or one of the Magpul alphabet stocks.

I know it was only a page ago and easily forgotten but it was done for liability reasons. For a forum of shooters, there sure are a lot of people focused on the looks of something they've never used or seen outside of the internet rather than waiting to give it a try or listen to those who have.

It was important that the shooter knows what caliber the uppers were built as. Especially when it comes to 300 BLK and 5.56. Since some 300 BLK can chamber in 5.56 we had to come up with a way to differentiate between the two since the barrel marking are hidden under the handguard. 300 BLK in a 5.56 barrel does not end well.

Marking the caliber makes sense, but not the stylized model number.

I don't care what others say about the furniture, I know what I like and what works for me. I don't want that silly looking crap on my gun.

And since we're making assumptions, I guess I could extrapolate that you dig those queer Seekins lowers.

I give two ****s about the roll marks on my lowers or how they look. As long as they're made by reputable manufacturers, I'll use them all.

Seekins lowers? No I wouldn't buy one. Not when I can get a lower made by LMT, Colt, BCM, DD, etc for a far better price.

Where did I make an assumption? Have you used the furniture that you dislike so much?
