Since you've seen the new DD furniture in person maybe you can enlight the rest of us "how it felt, if it grabs beard hairs, would the 'hook' on the stock be good for offhand grasping when prone, does the rubber grip lock your grasp better than the MOE+ or ERGO, and how does the grip angle feel?"

    No?

The stock and grip are not even available yet you have emotional attachment to it when others comments don't mirror that of your own.

What exactly do looks have to do with QC? If that stock proves to be ergonomic, durable, locks up well and is light it is a winner.

This furniture will make gun bans in Hussein's 3rd term much more palatable.

I don't believe DD raised their prices much if at all this year and considering most people swapped out the Moe stock and A2, I don't see the downside I'm this. My guess is if you wanted to swap furniture you'd have an easier time selling the new DD furniture than trying to see a MOE and A2.

Had the chance to check this out at SHOT show personally. IMHO yes it is a bit ugly, but I liked it. The integrated trigger and the rubberized texture did provide a lot better feel which makes it very comfortable for those who don't use gloves to shoot. I thought it provided much better ergonomic feel with the grip. Compared to the MOE+, the feeling is about the same but the stance or way you hold it is angled a tad differently which makes it very comfortable. This furniture will be released per DD rep and available separately from the rifles that will be released with them moving forward. I am glad that DD is jumping in a different direction and I do not think it is a bad thing since they want to come up with their own set of furniture.

I looked at it and actually felt it. I didn't care for it and it won't be replacing anything in my current inventory.

I was underwhelmed with the stock, indifferent to the VFG and thought the grip was okay. Given that they were starting from scratch, it seems that DD had the opportunity to come up with something better.

I love DD rifles, especially their barrels and rails, but damn if they don't make ugly accessories

Disagree... I like the look of the DD 1.5 rear BUIS and I also think their muzzle devices are purty...
