Been carrying a kershaw launch 6 or a smith oasis. Have an old gerber mini-evo as a spare.

Amazed some of you still recommend Benchmade. They are nowhere as good as they used to be QC wise, overpriced for what you get, and support antigun dems.

The Doug Ritter/Hogue folder is the best value available. Its basically a BM Griptillian. Wish Doug would make a mini. I asked him about it, said he would consider it.

Yep, I've been a ZT/Kershaw carrier for many years, but own a few Benchmades, they won't be getting a penny from me ever again after the last fiasco.

I have been saying this for years, BM is a decent knife company, but only due to their warranty. They are overpriced for the materials and designs...hey the axis lock isn't protected by a patent anymore. I have a BM super Greek, and it is just BM waking up and stealing Doug's blade design. On the left is a BM RSK and the Freek has had the DLC removed and a stonewash applied.

I have been using Spyderco Delica 4 as my EDC knife since I love that it has FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) which makes the sturdy handle, tough and functional.SP11PBK4t.jpg

    BenchWade Barrage

Years ago at formation, a fellow soldier told us about getting woken up with a guy standing over him. He said he was unable to reach his firearm, but if he had a knife, he could have taken him. From that time on, when sleeping I have a knife attached to my underwear.

I bought a StatGear Ausus flipper a year or so ago when it was on Kickstarter. Love the knife. I'm sitting at an airport waiting for my flight so I can't get a picture of it right now.

Fixed blade EDC is a Clinch Pick.

I carry a GEC crown lifter or a Brous VR-71 if I need something bigger.

Either a ZeroTolerance 350.skd or a Spartan Knives Pallas.

The former is on me when I'm at work. The latter when I'm off duty.
