Agree, it is a great steel. I've had a few friends say it was hard to sharpen if they used anything other than diamond media. For example, popular sharpeners like the Spyderco Sharpmaker--which comes standard with ceramic stones--I've heard folks say it won't sharpen it adequately unless you upgrade to the CBN or Diamond add-on stones.

Nice looking blade! That handle and blade shape looks quite similar to a regular spring-loaded folder I have, the Kershaw Link in m390 steel.

Its certainly more difficult to sharpen if you really dull the edge, but in my experience its hard to do so. It's a very tough steel. If you somehow happen to nick the edge, it'll certainly take some time on a diamond stone. But an Arkansas stone amd strop work more than adequately to restore a hair popping edge when it dulls slightly (which takes considerable use)

You can home or strop an m4 blade without diamonds, but to cut the carbides you will need cbn or diamonds

Boker + Tech Tool, it's like a Swiss Army knife with a better blade shape and steel, unfortunately made in China. G10 scales and a pocket clip too.

Not everyone who carries a knife carries a tactical folder.
