    I too am on a beer budget!! I am going with the Leupy VXR SPR and Aero Precision ultra light extended mount. 14 1/2 oz with mount and under $650 for both. GH

    Tr24 is the only current 1-4x scope I would consider. For the weight premium you are paying with many of the other 1-4x optics, it makes sense to get more magnification.

    Dot is Aimpoint bright, glass very clear. Going to run it this weekend along side some other optics. [T1, ACOG TA44SG, VXR, MK6]

    Please post about the battery life. I'm highly skeptical of the Aimpoint like battery life USO is claiming.
