Mechanical zero it, then get on paper at 50. Then zero at 100 yards.

How does 40 rds equal 40 yds ?. I did exactly what the instructions tell one to do to zero at 25 yds then go form there. Rifle is mech zero with Iron sights - dead nutz that way. I don't have a bore sight tool for scopes.

I used my buddies ACOG saddle/mount and at 70 yds ran out of elevation to POI by about 16". I have some bronze tube on hand and made two .110" shims and using longer screws and keeping ACOG center of mount tightened it all up. It zeroed POI at 70 yds inside 15 rds. Gave rifle to my mini-me and he proceeded to hit my 90 yd steel plate 2 out of 3 , then my 70 yd steel plate 2 out of 3 and then pounded my 220 yd manhole cover 8 out of 10. So it works like a charm set up like that. The mount has no markings on it and holds ACOG bottom .170" from the picatinny rails on upper.

    Sorry that was my stupid.

I am not sure why that happened. Though once you get the new mount you will rezero.

I zero'd mine at 100. Had someone get me on paper then did the rest.
It is from the construction of underground FEMA camps. I can't say more because there a guy parked in front of house in an AMC Pacer. He is acting like he talking on the phone, but I know better.

I have to sign off now & put my laptop in the microwave.
