The hardest thing to swallow about these lower is the transferee fee costing as much as the lower does! Lol, gotta find someone who will put multiple items number on one 4473 without charging another fee.
Any engraving shop (trophy shop usually has them) with a low wattage laser can do it. I would recommend that you send them back to me because I have done them before and if someone else messes up..they can replace them. All i charge is a flat $20. Most of that is to cover the shipping back to you (adult signature usually runs $14). I usually engrave on the magwell or above the trigger/hammer pins.
Do you only engrave your lowers?
I have built 2 AR's with TA lowers and I have 2 more in the gun locker for future builds. I also have also bought one of the AR10 lowers that is due out this spring. If you want a light weight AR this is a good lower to do it with. It may require a little fitting on your part but if you are handy with some hand tools you can put this lower together in about 30 minutes and it should last you a life time of shooting. kwg

I have a local FFL who does transfers for $25; up to (at least) 4 on one 4473/fee if they all came in the same box. Guess I'm just lucky.

That is a good deal, the best I have found is $15-20 per serial number (no longer available) and $50 for 3 numbers (5 numbers fit on a 4473). Most places are seriously asking $40 per number, period. They don't like you strolling in and picking up a box of $40-50 lowers that they have on their shelf for $150 bucks each plus tax. I guess there are enough suckers in the world to support their profit though. Not me, screw um! I'll waste their time fondling their guns and then go buy it online for cheeper with free shipping. See, capitalism can cut both ways.
Back on topic, these seem like polymer lowers done right, and the price is outstanding enough to buy a few or more!
