You know what's crazy about these gun parts? You can paint them whatever color you desire. I just did a whole carbine the other day, and I didn't even contact JSOC.
Really?

Really?
Reminds me of the time I had to wait 1 year for a RIS II M4A1 FDE.
Good luck to those that want a MK18 rail.
For the more authentic JSOC look, Rustoleum and Krylon are still available at your local hardware store.
What is it with colors these days...
Dogma is failure - Ken Hackathorn
Only performance counts - Paul Sharp
should have came here first I just ordered a black one, though I allredy have a fde one
can see people adding couple hundred extra to them, cause they need the clone look
Oddly enough, one can also buy a black one and have it Cerakoted to the exact same color too... I'm simply glad I embraced the rattlecan. So simple, and a seemingly limitless amount of options for patterns or colors.
"SEND IT" happens to be my trigger words...
I had and sold both lengths of RIS II hand guards, weren't my cup of tea. If geissele stops selling their brown hand guards I'll get worked up.
That's why I was wondering if there was a shortage of FDE Cerakote, but the FSP RIS II in FDE is still an option. There obviously isn't a shortage of the actual part since they're still selling the black one. So I guess SOCOM said we'll buy every non-FSP RIS II that you can finish with FDE Cerakote that you don't sell as an upper or a complete rifle... we ird.
