I have an ACOG TA11 on my Noveske, but my CQB gun is a Beretta CX4 Storm 9mm with an Aimpoint H-1.
EOTech 552. It's not a "Sniper Rifle" and I can't see more than 300m in any direction where I live. Double A batteries are available anywhere and can be pilfered from every X-Box controller in your house. Nothing is faster. It spent over two years on my M4 in Iraq, it's good enough for here, and in my opinion, good luck.
I will be adding a magnifier with a FTS mount, though.
My go to shtf rifle has iron sights.
I use an eotech xps 2.0. But I rather use iron sights. I leave the eotech on because the wife and son knows how to use the eotech.
Every rifle I own, except for my 10/22, has BUIS (or an offset RMR, in the case of my LMT MWS).
Red dot on 12.5 AR SBR, and on SBR Draco. If Obama releases the zombie hordes, and can only take one rifle, I'm going to have a hard time deciding which one to take. Lets hope it doesn't come to this..

One SHTF rifle has a 1-4 variable optic that can be used illum/unillum and has MBUS. MBUS are rugged and Leupold's ruggedness speak itself. The other has an Aimpoint PRO and MBUS, couple of batts in the pistol grip and its good for a few years.
Mine has and Aimpoint with BUIS. I have a magnifier on a LaRue QD mount if needed.
