3 with Burris Tac30's with MBUS and 3 with Aimpoint Pro's with Troy fixed backups..... I prefer the 1-4 ymmv.

I have an aimpoint but I'm really considering a trijicon. Either way, Irons are your best bet.

Yes really. People always say, "when they come for our guns" but they never say who "they" are. Who the hell is they?

Com on guys back on track. A SHTF optic is thread topic, not which SHTF and by whom. Hate to see thread closed because of opinions. Just the facts mam, just the facts...

This is my outlook as well. Also, with a bit of practice, a variable powered optic is just as fast at close range as a RDS.

Paranoia increases sales. Personally, I'm more wary of the general public than the federal government.

Moving on, I agree with those who say that one should have more than one "SHTF" weapon.

    I chose both...

I live as close to the country-side as I do to the city...So things up close or moving fast get the Aimpoint T1. Things at distance, the desire for more precision, or things needing observation...they get the Acog TA31H-G
