    $4.00 Soldering iron and a few hours later with some practice on the airsoft gun...





    The grips are simply amazing now. I may go back a touch up a few spots but odds are I'll just leave it.

    I just picked it up from my FFL. Sig P229 Elite Dark with threaded barrel. I can't wait to get it to the range this weekend.

    Sig 229 40s&w,TLR1, XS Big Dot Sights, Rule of Concelment Holster worn IWB... bought this new from Flatwoods back in 03 as a return from deployment present to myself, if i knew now what i didn't know then i would have got a g19 or at least a 9mm 229. But the gun runs flawlessly and is more accurate then i am.

    And for the record my P229 was the only .40 cal. firearm I ever owned that I really liked.

    Thank's...Yeah i like my 229 i just wish i hadn't bought into the 40S&W hype...oh well gives me an excuse to buy another gun i guess.
