    I got a chance to shoot a P229 in .357 SIG the other weekend. It was a blast to shoot, no malfunctions, and my shot placement was good considering it was my first time shooting .357 SIG. The trigger take up was a little 'gritty' to me. Recoil management was easy with proper stance/grip.
