"When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home." -Chief Tecumseh

    My P-228
It fits my hand like it was made for it, it's easy to hit with, and very reliable. In the 16 years I've had it I don't think I've ever had any kind of stoppage at all.
On the negative side, the finish on the slide isn't very durable. The roll pins in the slide kept drifting out when I was shooting it and I had to slightly flare the inner roll pin at both ends with a center-punch to keep that from happening.

Just replace the roll pins, they're a wear item and are very important to keeping the locking block where it belongs. You can get them from Top Gun Supply. I believe I got mine from Brownell's.

After I flared both ends a little they don't drive out any more. Do I need to replace them for some other reason?
