I'm sure that'll be ok short term, but they're not expensive. I'm not sure of the rd. count, but Sig Sauer does recommend that they're replaced. If you have a gun with a known high rd. count or an unknown rd. count, I'd replace them just for piece of mind.

I just got the kit, because mine was an ex-Swiss PD gun.

To contribute to this, with my P229, the pin broke in half from a lot of dryfire. The pin that broke was a solid one. I don't know if the roll pins would do the same. It's still good insurance to have some on hand just in case.

In very early 90's, our agency decided to purchase duty handguns for issue. This became the early Sig 226 9mm with the folded slide.
10 years later Sig offered us a great trade deal. We traded all the 226's in for the new 226 DAK in 357Sig. Ammo in both guns was the Gold Dot HP. 9mm was the 124gr +P and the 357Sig was the 125gr GDHP.
Really came to like the DAK guns. No change from DA to SA trigger. Just like shooting a well made S&W revolver, action wise.

    Sparks2112's P226s -

The frame and slide got a slightly different composition coating. This was done because the frame is, obviously, aluminum and has a different set of requirements than the slide does.

Next to a NHC Falcon slide, with slightly higher PTFE content, and a slightly darker hue.

Next to my CQB, which will be refinished soon, with a modified black coating.

Sig 239 9mm. It is one of the earliest editions to come to DFW area.
The night sights are dead on it now. Pretty much a safe queen.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

The last thing I want to do is hurt you,
but it's still on my list.
