My Sig Sauer P938 Extreme:
My Sig Sauer 522 with Aimpoint T1 with Larue mount and Larue FUG:
Sig did a run with the older 2009 frames (Made in Switzerland on the frame) while everything else remains the same as the more modern picatinny railed frames. Not sure why Sig brought back the older frames, but I suspect it was probably due to such high demand during the post-Newtown panic (surplus from LE/government sales maybe?). I actually chose the older variant over its modern counterpart when I compared both of them side by side at my LGS. I don't plan on hanging anything off the gun, ruins the balance for me. The only thing I added was the large Sig Pro grip, which I ended up switching back to the stock stipled medium grip. I like the look and feel of the large grip, but the medium grip just fits my hand better. Will eventually add night sights. Although I've been tempted to drop some coin on a M11A1/228 or 229 SAS, It's hard to justify when the SP2022 is a great Sig at half the cost.
