Thanks Grant, you always seem to have the answer.
    You are welcome.

Got mine today and just slapped the barrel in it and rail on it.
I'm no AR expert but this receiver seems very nice!
    Barrel was a SNUG fit!

And thanks Grant for the quick shipment.
Funny, that is the same barrel I'm putting on the one I just ordered from Grant. I had this extra barrel and decided to finally do something with it. I'm hoping it's a tight fit, but not too tight. I have a couple unused MUR uppers, but wanted to try out the new BCM.

I hate to say it, but I might be turning into a BCM fanboy. I really like their BFH LW uppers, and I've been messing around with a BCM stainless upper as well. Got a collection of BCM covers now... Just waiting to get a couple of those new KMR rails.

My Rainier UM barrel had to be tapped in lightly also.
Upper was .9993 and barrel was .9987, there was NO slop!

I thought one of the advantages of MURs was the extra material that creates greater stiffness (same/same for Larue UR), which can enhance accuracy on precision builds?

Are they selling complete rifles with this new rail? Maybe something with a 14.5" barrel?

Yes. We did Magpul FDE, OD, burnt bronze and our own dark wolf color.

I cannot comment to this as I have no proof. What REALLY matters in regards to long range accuracy is the barrel extension to receiver fit and the trueness of the picatinny rail.
