I submitted the trust and the schedule A for the trust. Interesting sidenote is that it appears you can append additional documents in eforms after it has been submitted (assuming the website is actually working). I had forgotten the schedule A when I submitted my form 1's back in November.

I was told today by the help on the website that you NOT need to submit a certification of compliance with you trust...Is this true or has a form 1 been approved without one of these?

    I have been told different
ATF says you don't need it, per their own bulletin (see top right section):

The ones I've done, I've uploaded my complete trust, plus any pic or a doc with a couple sentences to explain anything that caused me to get the yellow warning triangle (usually either a caliber or model not available in drop down boxes).

I called and spoke to the ATF agent personally and was told I did NOT have to submit a Certification of Compliance" with a Trust application.
Has my application been approved without it? No, but it is not because I didn't submit a C of C.
How can a Corporation, an LLC, or a Trust be in compliance with citizenship requirement? It is not an individual. It is just an entity.

I have to say, I was tempted to send one in anyway just in case. I didn't see what it could possibly hurt. If they don't need it they could always disregard it. But, since they instructed me not to send one in, I decided to go ahead and do as I was told.

I've been trying to do a form 1 for the last 4 hours. Multiple server errors. I give up, going to bed.

Hurry up and finish what you started yesterday. You never know how long it will stay up.

I had been trying for the past couple days to get my Form 1 submitted. Kept getting systems errors and "lost connection." Was finally successful this evening about 5pm CST. Granted I haven't been sitting around hitting refresh constantly as my wife demanded I spend time with her this weekend and today I was obligated to work as well.

FYI - I filed as a Trust but still included a 5330.20 just in case as some filing documents I had said to include one. I figured they can always just disregard it.

Now to sit back and see what happens...

Well it finally WORKED!!!! I actually had to have one of the support people help me and logn into my account and she submitted it and it worked.

Just an FYI for all you guys still having problems, don't be afraid to contact the support team via "ask the experts"
Lee over there went way out of her way to help and guide me through the problems I was having and answer any question I had. She will get you squared away if you are having trouble.

Thanks again guys for all your replies and threads. Now I begin the process of waiting for approval, hopefully it worked!

That has been my experience. Contrary to all our cynicism of government in general and their stance on guns, therefore distrust with ATF I was pleasantly surprised how helpful they really were. I walked away with the impression they REALLY want the efile to work. That much I can vouch for.

Guys, I work in government databases on a regular basis. Many of these have problems but we continually find the support teams to universally be very helpful. I only had one issue a couple of years ago that took a few weeks to get resolved. I am glad to see the sport team is working hard to improve the process.

In my work I come in contact with a multiple federal LE agencies. I guess I have been lucky but all of these I have come in contact with have been real pros. I have been amazed at their professionalism.
