I received a set of these. Though they are a blatant rip-off design of KAC micros they are actually quite nice and seem to be built well. I don't see any reason they wouldn't function well and hold up to general use. The up and down detents are solid and the windage/elevations adjustments have clearly distinguishable tactile clicks, in these ways they feel comparable to KAC Micros and Magpul PROs, both of which I also have and use.

They are the lightest BUIS made that I know of at 1.9oz for the set measured (next lightest are Magpul MBUS Gen 2s at 2.5oz set)
    1oz rear
    .9oz front

The titanium, hollow torx-head screws weigh .05oz each. If there was a problem with these sights it may be a durability issue related to the lightweight aluminum construction. The slim MBUS PROs and KAC micros are both steel and might be a sound indication of a target in micro/folding sight design strength but the Spikes are not flimsy any account (note DD and Troy sights are also aluminum though bigger in design). Also no sights fare unscathed in drop tests.

Features in comparison to KAC micros: I like that the Spikes rear has the ability to open up the aperture for lowlight, similar to the off-set KAC micro 200-600m rear and the KAC 300m rear. It's something I wouldn't mind for the standard KAC 200-600m micro rear. Though like the KAC 300m micro I am not a fan of how the aperture plug is removable and easily lost, something like the MBUS aperture set up is ideal, IMO.
The front sight post on the KAC micro front is slimmer and better at not obscuring distant targets than the Spikes, tappered "spike" FSP. The Spikes tip is slightly slimmer at the tip than a standard mil-spec square FSP.
The front sight has a rounded sight hood. It is moot to me but you might care.

The grips I have beside the white "Spikes Tactical" lettering on the front is that the included torx wrench barely fits into the screw head, my t25 torx head fits just fine but the included wrench seems like it's between a t25 and t27 in size. The only real problem I found is the rear sight is setup to read the adjustments from the front of the sight. WTF?
When the sight is flipped up and you want to dial up the elevation you can't see the adjustments from behind the gun. The arrow and number marks on the drum are on the front and track from the front. Apparently nobody tested the rear sight from the prone or they just remembered that from behind 4 = 1 on the drum and went from there...

And to that point I hope to get it out soon to zero it and see how well the adjustments track.

    For reference:

    -Magpul MBUS G2 = 2.5oz
    1.16oz Front
    1.3oz Rear

    -MBUS PRO = 3.3oz (https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread....US-Pro/page6):
    Front: 1.52 oz
    Rear: 1.79 oz

    -DD fixed sights = 2.8oz
    1.1oz front
    1.7oz Rear

    -KAC Micro = 2.85oz
    1.35oz front
    1.5oz rear 300m
    1.8oz rear 200-600m

    -Troy = 3.3oz
    Front: 1.56 oz
    Rear: 1.76 oz

I don't know why, but I like the sight leafs to flare out a little bit like with a standard AR front sight...these are more HK like, but perhaps I could get used to them; I know people who love HK style front sights.
So far, I love the MBUS PROs, but I may try out a Spikes Front sight just for the hell of getting .5 ounces off the front (though the SF brake would be the easier way to cut weight from the front).

I suppose I should have concluded, would I recommend these sights?

If one were not obsessing about light weight, no.

If you want adjustable elevation go KAC micro 200-600m all day, better FSP and better user adjustments.

If you don't care about adjustable elevation, MBUS PROs are the ticket with their same-plan, attached changeable apertures and brilliant economy of size.

If you really want lightweight and want a decent sight set of sights with lots of features these are the ones.
If Spikes would have done something like these adjustable elevation sights with MBUS style attached, same-plan apertures and also flipped the elevation adjustments to be read from the rear I would reconsider my recommendations.
