I've always changed my battery once a year. I realize that they will go longer than that, but for a duty weapon, I want to be sure it will always be on. I check it every day, and replace the battery once a year on my birthday. That $3 a year is an easy investment to insure there's a fairly "fresh" battery in the Aimpoint, considering the duration these things will run with one battery.
"My craving is, and always has been, to be involved in actions conducted to ensure America remains strong, safe, and free of those who have its destruction as their goal."
- Billy Waugh
