...ummm...that's incorrect. Possessing high cap magazines in Kalifornia is 100% legal.at least we can possess high-caps. I'd be out of my skull in California

I have one of the Asian military mags, it's steel, black in color. The Armory had a bunch at one time and the owner gave me one to try. It's over 2 years old now, used it alot and never had problem one with it. I know your options are slim, so, it may be worth trying.
GET IN YOUR BUBBLE!
Fulton armory sellsused orilite mags(30)rd for $4.95.I forget how much new,but reasonable.
as long as it's milspec, bnew and not made of plastic. Im sure it'll be fine.
You're right....To a point. I can go buy a new AR-15 here in Massachusetts, having had zero magazines to my name prior to the purchase, then buy as many high capacity mags as I want to...The same is not true in California unless you modify your AR, (pinned mag, bullet button, monster grip etc)....
I put in for 2 just for S&G....If they work - great, if not - rebuild....
I can re-build 100% of the magazines I already possess. Essentially, they don't have a lifespan.having had zero magazines to my name prior to the purchase
Additionally, how do I know or anyone know how many magazines you had prior to the purchase? Are magazines a regulated item?![]()
I am not advocating breaking any laws, I'm just sayin...

I know that when the ban expired I traded my preban lower for a new postban lower to someone in CT that could only own prebans still. Is there a resource anyone knows of to help those behind the lines with preban mags? I know I have some in my gear that work fine I could trade for Pmags. They have krylon numbers painted on the sides if one doesn't mind a cosmetic issue.
By work fine they have gone through EAG courses and not had problems.
